We had a fantastic stay at this venue. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location is great, close to Century City and all its attractions. The room amenities were top-notch, with a spacious sitting area, in-room safe, and a lovely patio to relax on. The free wi-fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide variety of options. The staff here truly made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make our stay memorable.
Highly recommended for everyone.

Saffron House was a wonderful surprise. It is clean, light and airy, quiet, relaxing, and the staff were courteous and professional. We loved it so much that we are returning for the weekend of 15-16 Oct 2011

Saffron House - Home from home. Friendly staff, helpful with attractions, room for kids to play. Manager Geraldine is friendly with everyone. Central location is an added benefit. Clean rooms, daily muffins, positive atmosphere. Perfect stay, will definitely recommend and revisit.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Firstly, I am very, very difficult to be satisfied and maybe a difficult customer. Saffron House's cleanliness was exceptional. I would rate it 9.75 out of 10. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would have sent an email on our return to tell you about it. Defnitely near to perfect and I will recommend it to all
Not really a complain, rather a recommendation. I told them the only thing they can improve on, was supplying either shower gel, or bath gel. Honestly, that was the only shortcoming. On the other hand are we traveling UK and Ireland and more expensive hotels here, offer much less.

It was as I expected - the team made me feel welcome.
It was cold - the decor is all white and is just too clinical for a Cape Town winter. Also, there are no plugs in the room so I couldnt sit in the bed and work on my laptop.

The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft. the location of the hotel was great, with easy access to shops and restaurants.
The hotel was very outdated and in need of renovation. the decor was drab and unappealing, giving the whole hotel a depressing feel.

I enjoyed the efficiency and friendliness of the manageress and staff. The venue was clean and plenty of parking. If you are looking for a venue that is close to the beach and beach sports, Century City, CT city center local restaurants, pubs and golf venues, the this is perfect. I will stay there again.
I found that the decor of the reception and lounge area is very sparse, needed some carpets and colour to give the warm welcome impression that matches the manageress and staff. The dining room also needed some of the same treatment to make one feel as if we are at home.

The rooms were very spacious and clean, especially the linen which was of high quality. The location of the hotel was quite interesting, it was far enough from the bustling crowds of the city centre yet close enough to visit easily. A key aspect we appreciated was the in-house spa service which offered a variety of treatments.
The breakfast was not up to our standards as it lacked the variety and quality we expected. , the service was slow and uninviting.

It is a beautifully furnished house and the food was real good. Close to the city and easy to find. The housekeeping were good and our room was neatly maden in the morning.
We booked a garden room which was described as a flatlet. We assumed that we would have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and maybe a small living area, but it was a very small room with little space around the bed, with an en suite bathroom. Although there were dstv facilities, we had no reception in the room.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The hotel was located close to Century City, which made it easy for us to access transportation and other facilities.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

Waited 45 minutes to get into the place. Then they gave me a room in the back . Then they gave me the wrong key to the place. So I couldnt lock the door. I tried to contact them to get me the right key,. No one available. Slept in a different place then. Worst of all, no apologies , no ownership for what happened and no compensation.Im glad I only did one day there

Staff lovely and bed linen and towels lovely. Brakfast great
But the guest house is very run down, stained carpets, hairs in tea/coffee supplied, taps all loose, mould on bathroom ceiling, shower door loose. No soap in bathroom. Bedside table falls over as it is broken . I am sureif there is a mistake as it cant be 4 star I stay on a special - if I had had to pay full price I would be most dissatisfied but it was worth just R400 and for a cheapaie night I would recommend to friend but tell them what to expect first
